"IN A BOX!" Spirit Sleep mattresses are compressed and rolled, then sealed in a water proof canvas bag.
1. Remove rolled mattress from box. Lay on "Better Than a Box Spring"TM or SmartBase foundation.
2. Cut away outer white wrapper.
3. Unroll compressed mattress and cut away the clear plastic wrapper.
4. Remove plastic. Mattress continues to expand fully.

I couldn't find many reviews about this bed online, so wanted to be sure to write one for other people trying out a memory foam mattress for the first time. I shopped around for awhile and was very impressed with the manufacturing process of this bed, and they use green tea, bamboo, and charcoal. They even shred their foam so it doesn't get hot like other memory foam. My concern was whether the bed would be too hard because of the foam, but I was pleasantly surprised. The plush top makes it very comfortable, and I was advised to get a waterproof mattress pad because you don't want to ruin the foam if there is ever a spill. This mattress comes compressed...I bought a king size and was amazed it was in the box it came in, and it is very heavy, so you will need another person to help you. It starts expanding as soon as you get it out of the box. Now, they say give it 72 hours to fully expand to the 14.5". I did this, but mine only expanded to 11.5", so I called I Like Furniture.com, and they asked me to send a pic with the tape measure showing how thick it was, and they immediately turned around and sent me a new mattress. I was so impressed with the customer service I received at this store and how quickly they reacted. The new mattress did expand all the way, and the first mattress I donated to someone that needed one. I would definitely buy from this store again and recommend it to all my friends! You don't see customer service like this anymore with people that will go out of their way to make something right, and the mattress is extremely nice!
