International Concepts

International Concepts (formerly Whitewood Industries) was founded in 1979 in Greensboro, NC as an unfinished furniture wholesaler, providing furniture to retail stores throughout the Eastern United States. Initially, Whitewood Industries only purchased and resold furniture products, however, it soon became obvious that profits and sales could be increased by assembling some of the products at their own facilities. In 1985, Whitewood Industries moved to a 9,000 sq. foot facility in Jamestown, NC while continuing to wholesale unfinished furniture. In 1987 the company started importing chair components and assembling them to sell to unfinished furniture stores. That same year Whitewood Industries moved from Jamestown to High Point, NC and leased a 24,000 sq. foot facility.

In 1990, the owners of Whitewood Industries purchased a building in Thomasville, NC and the company moved again. The new building more than tripled available warehouse space. Finished furniture was added to the Whitewood Industries lineup. In mid 1994, Whitewood Industries purchased another large facility in Thomasville which brought total manufacturing, office and warehouse space to well in excess of 200,000 sq. feet.

By 1996, the finished furniture line became large enough to create it's own name, and the growing volume of customers required that a new manufacturing facility be created. The year 2000 saw an exciting benchmark for Whitewood. The company recruited a talented team and engaged well-known furniture designer Carol Wheeless to develop Whitewood's own, finished furniture brand. Today, International Concepts, Inc. employs 150 Thomasville, NC residents with manufacturing, warehousing, corporate offices, and showroom facilities reaching 350,000 square feet.

If a product is received damaged by the customer due to poor workmanship or poor packaging, International Concepts will replace the item at no cost to the customer, inclusive of freight, postage, and handling charges. The Customer should report any damage to I Like Furniture.com. It is the responsiblility of I Like Furniture.com to contact International Concepts regarding corrective action.

Buyer's Remorse
All sales come with this manufacturer's 7-day return policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the item, you may return the item for a full refund of the item's paid price less the original shipping, return shipping, and a restocking fee of 20% (of the sales price) within 7 days of the shipping date. This means that you must contact www.ILikeFurniture.com within 7 days for a Return Authorization Number (RTA). Upon assignment of the RTA you will be given written instructions on how to return your order. An order may only be returned upon assignment of the RTA. Any order returned without an RTA will not be accepted. Buyer is responsible for repackaging and return transportation charges. Any returned item must be shipped back to this manufacturer in its original packaging, with no signs of use, wear or damage. Upon receipt, manufacturer will inspect the package for any damage and reserves the right to partially or wholly accept or deny the return. If accepted, your credit card will be "credited."
